Game report

The first very good opportunity went for Team Japan; in the 3rd minute Suzuki was searching for a loop between Ruane´s pads, but with no luck. Japanese players opened the score in the 6th minute during their power play thanks to Kohda. The game was tied in the 10th minute. Luis Custodio made a great one man show, when he alone got himself in front of the net, sent the puck to the second wave to Guzman who made the game tied. However, Japanese players did not slow down and added two more goals by Goto and Suzuki. Brazilians found and answer by converting their power play in the 18th minute by Bruno Gomez.

Both teams had a good opportunities, but both goalies showed, that they are the main stones of the teams. Brazilians however scored again. In the 39th minute Guilardi converted the 2nd power play and it looked like, that an audience could wait for overtime. However, the overtime did not take a part of this game. Shortly before the end of the 4th quarter, Japanese players got a chance to play a power play and they took a time out to make up what to do. And this plan, however it was, worked perfectly. 108 seconds before the end, the power play was converted by Nishinaga and Japanese could start celebrating.
