Reactions
Imrich Antal (Slovakia): I think the game was very balanced, but was decided, that Czechs were able to convert their power play into goals. Considering the fact that our competition before the start of the championship managed to play only three rounds and players are not so warmed-up, we can be satisfied. We made a sharp exchange of players in our team and we have handy and skated-developed players. Now it´s just about how they can realize what we say in the locker room.
Jan Besser (Czech Republic): We are satisfied about what we have played. Especially then on offense, when we well combined and were active on the puck. In our defensive play, we then made mistakes, which Slovaks of course punished. We have to improve this part of our game. Must say, however, that our entire team met just this morning, and maybe these mistakes were cause of it.
